Legend
Empathy and unconditional positive regard
It is important to practice compassion and self-compassion. When speaking with clients, empathy is a top priority. While I have not lived in your shoes, nor walked down your path, I can certainly visualize what the journey must have felt like and do my best to support the individual you are today. Clients will always be addressed positively and professionally, regardless of what information is shared. We value radical acceptance. We accept you as you are and as you would like to be.
Modalities: Rogerian, Adlerian, Jungian
02
Non-judgement
It is my professional obligation and moral duty to bring non-judgement to each of our interactions. You are safe. Your feelings are valid. I see you, and I hear you. I am here to sit with your story and emotions, without projecting biases or opinions. You are the writer and expert of your own story. Our relational dynamic gives every client the power to speak up and share feedback, free from repercussions.
Modalities: person-centered, narrative, Dialectical Behavior Therapy
03
Strength-based approach
You have the strength and potential to overcome your hardships, as you have consistently done thus far. I aim to amplify your strengths and shed light on positive coping mechanisms, changes and progression towards your goals, and the ideal version of yourself you would like to grow towards becoming to achieve congruency. The more we recognize our strengths, the more resiliency we can develop. In turn, being aware of our strengths allows us to leverage them more confidently and frequently.
Modalities: strength-based, solution-focused, Cognitive Behavior Therapy
04
Spiritual emotional intelligence
I can personalize therapy sessions to adapt to a secular, energetic approach that would align with Atheists, Agnostics, and non-spiritual individuals. I can also provide space and respect for all faiths and spiritual identifications. Come as you are - whether you are a Catholic, Buddhist, Satanist, Wiccan, Pagan, Taoist, all or none of the above. Spiritual emotional intelligence allows me to practice compassion, intentionality, mindfulness, and curiosity with all clients.
Modalities: existentialism, positive psychology, energy therapy

Decolonized intentions
As a Canadian therapist living in Barrie, Ontario on Treaty 18, 1818 and on the Wendake-Nionwentsïo, Haudenosaunee, Mississauga, and Anishinabewaki ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭ Nations, I strive to learn about the land I reside on and people I am surrounded by. I have respect for all cultures, religions, nationalities, gender identities and sexual orientations, social or economic classes, and humans as a whole. I integrate Westernized and traditional, holistic practices. Through a biopsychosocial approach, I incorporate biology, psychology, and sociology in addressing the complexities of the whole human experience.

Neuroaffirming, human, and accessible care
I have lived and professional experience with neurodivergence, understanding our neurotype, and recognizing how we show up in the world. I can support with learning about your needs, how to work with and not against your brain, and collaboratively building a plan that meets your goals. I believe every brain is beautiful. I strive to help you find the beauty in your brain, too. I offer a non-pathologizing approach. While a diagnosis is helpful, it is not definitive of your character or identity. I'm here to see you and work with you, not your label. I provide human supports to fellow humans - I don't use artificial intelligence for my services or research. I offer a sliding scale of 6 spots and aim to keep this scale available.
Modalities: somatic therapy, nature and mindfulness based therapies
